On March 29, 2025, we have a Partial Solar Eclipse Super New Moon in Aries.
The Partial Solar Eclipse in Aries will begin around 3:48 AM Pacific and end around 3:58 AM Pacific with the Super New Moon in Aries with the Sun and Moon meeting at 9°, 00” of Aries.
A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun, and the Moon casts a shadow over the Earth. And this New Moon is also a Super New Moon which means the Moon gets as close as it possibly can to Earth.
Essentially this is an incredibly, intense and potent New Moon, and it is the first of three Super New Moons in a row. We have this Aries Super New Moon, the Taurus New Moon in April will be a Super New Moon, and the Gemini New Moon in May is also a Super New Moon, which means we are laying the foundation for incredibly potent and powerful new beginnings with these New Moons. These New Moons will all be connected to three Super Full Moons that we will experience later this Fall as well.

Originally the chart showed it was at 8 degrees, but when I looked at the chart itself, the moon and sun were not exactly conjunct. So when I moved the clock by a minute, they met exactly at 9 degrees. So this tells me we actually are hammering down even more at the 9 degree New Beginning ruled by Sagittarius. The Ninth degree is ruled by Sagittarius and is an energy that is associated with higher education, learning, foreign travel, and having a plan.

Saros 149
Given eclipse energy is so dramatic and life-changing, eclipse energy doesn’t always affect us every time we experience an eclipse, and there are varied degrees of how powerfully we feel this energy. Think of Eclipse energy like a spiral, it builds off of itself until the cycle completes.
Eclipses are divided or categorized by Saros Series, so on average eclipses repeat similar themes every 18.5 years or so until the lesson completes.
This particular Partial Solar Eclipse is part of Saros Series 149 and will be visible and therefore more powerful for those in northwest Africa, Europe, north Russia.
This eclipse first began in August 1664 and will complete in September 2926. The last time we had an Eclipse in this Saros series was March 2007. So think back to what was going on in your life around March 2007 in particular as similar themes are likely to emerge.
Let’s broaden that out a little bit too: As I shared previously, we are currently shifting the nodal axis from the Aries-Libra axis to the Pisces–Virgo axis.
This switch began Sept. 17, 2024, to be exact, we had a Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, which was the first of the eclipse series on the Pisces/Virgo axis, we just had a Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Virgo, and we will continue to have eclipses activating this service axis until 2027.
Eclipse energy is tied to energy from the past, which is why these fated events can show up similarly in our lives and we can collectively experience events and weather phenomena similar to what was experienced in the past.
We are just wrapping up the eclipses on the Aries-Libra axis, but prior to the last few years, we had eclipses on this axis between October 2014 through September 2016, and between April 2004 – March 2006.
