May 24, 2025 – April 12, 2028
On Feb. 13, 2026, Saturn will leave the dreamy, boundaryless waters of Pisces and blaze forward into fiery Aries for the next two years, initiating a brand new energetic cycle that calls for courage, personal responsibility, and bold action.
In astrology, Saturn is known as the Lord of Karma or Fatherly Time, it’s a planet that teaches discipline, structure, and life lessons through limitations and boundaries. Its placement in your birth chart reveals where you’re being asked to grow up, get serious, and take full responsibility for your energy. It’s often a point of pressure, but also potential. It’s where karmic patterns play out and where mastery is earned through hard effort, not shortcuts.
Saturn’s transits are never light and they’re never fast. As the traditional ruler of both Capricorn and Aquarius, Saturn works through slow, steady progress. Think: The Tortoise and the Hare. Saturn is the tortoise, reminding us that quality and consistency matter more than speed. Saturn rewards discipline and integrity, and tends to humble those trying to cut corners.
Saturn in Aries: Lighting the Fire
When Saturn enters Aries, the sign of independence, action, and raw initiation, the energy shifts dramatically. We’re moving from Pisces’ foggy, emotional seas into the direct, no-nonsense fire of Aries. Saturn in Aries will demand we get clear, get real, and take decisive action. This is a time to focus on what needs to be done and do it, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Even if your natal Saturn isn’t in Aries, this transit will still impact you. To understand how, look to the house in your birth chart ruled by Aries. That’s where you’ll be asked to show up, grow up, and commit to something more mature and aligned.
For example, Aries rules my 3rd house — the realm of communication, writing, mindset, siblings, and local community. I expect this transit will challenge me to speak and write more clearly, refine how I express myself, and perhaps work through karmic patterns with siblings or neighbors. It’s about maturing in how I share my voice — and owning it fully.
Reflecting on Saturn in Pisces
Since March 8, 2023, Saturn has been moving through Pisces — a sign that resists boundaries and thrives in the ethereal. Saturn in Pisces asked us to bring structure to the spiritual, emotional, and invisible. But it hasn’t been easy. Pisces can blur reality, offering rose-colored glasses when Saturn wants sharp focus. This contrast made it a challenging transit for many, especially those avoiding their inner work.
Saturn entered Aries in March 2025 but then went retrograde starting July 12 to November 27, 2025, and officially re-entered Pisces on September 1 during that retrograde phase. Saturn will fully commit to Aries again on February 13, 2026 where it will stay until April 12, 2028.
I’ve felt Saturn’s lessons deeply over the past couple of years. Saturn has been moving through Pisces, which rules my second house of income, values, and self-worth and wow, did it show up to teach me some lessons.
During this transit, I experienced two job scams, and while 20 weeks pregnant, I found out I’d likely be laid off right before or after giving birth. It felt like every financial rug I was standing on got pulled out from under me. The past two years have been some of the most financially challenging I’ve ever faced and Saturn didn’t let me bypass any of it.
But through the struggle, I began to see where I was emotionally turning to spending as a coping mechanism. Saturn asked me to slow down and get radically honest about how I manage, earn, and value money. Not just practically but energetically and emotionally.
Now, with Saturn moving into Aries and my third house, I’m hopeful this new cycle will support my financial healing by helping me refine how I use my voice, share my ideas, and communicate with clarity and purpose. And I know I’ll carry the lessons of Saturn in Pisces forward with me especially around sustainability, self-worth, and the emotional roots of my money story.
As Saturn moves into Aries, many of us will feel a shift, a surge of clarity and momentum.
People may become more direct, more motivated, and more willing to take the lead in their own lives. But the work isn’t linear.
This is a powerful time to examine how you initiate change, assert your energy, and take charge of your direction. Saturn in Aries is about learning to lead not from ego, but from integrity.
