If March 2026 had to be distilled into one word, astrologically?
Revelation.
Not the polite kind. Not the tidy “I journaled and now I understand” kind.
The kind where veils get yanked.
March begins with Mars slipping into Pisces, turning swords into feelings. Rage dissolves into tears, prayers, art, collective longing. Then a Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, ruled by a retrograde Mercury in Pisces, lights up the axis of order and surrender. Eclipse seasons are cosmic plot twists. This one feels like a receipt printer that will not stop printing.
Venus flirts with Uranus, then collides with Neptune and Saturn. Romance idealizes, then sobers. Fantasy meets the bill. Meanwhile Mercury retrograde fuses with the Sun, then with Mars, then squares Lilith repeatedly. Conversations sharpen. Shadow truths surface. The polite narrative fractures.
The North Node in Pisces square Lilith asks: what happens when compassion meets suppressed rage? Who is allowed to be angry? Who benefits when we stay quiet?
Then the fog parts.
Jupiter stations direct. Mercury stations direct on the same day the Sun enters Aries for the Equinox. The astrological New Year cracks open like a match striking stone.
By late March, Saturn sextile Pluto says: now build something real from what you’ve seen.
March is not gentle.
It is the month where illusions thin, truths leak through, and we are asked to respond with maturity instead of denial.
Revelation.
And what we do with it becomes the story of the year.
March 2026 Astrological Forecast
March 2: Mars enters Pisces
If Mars is fighting energy and Pisces is the dreamy, imaginative spiritual world where we hold hands and sing kumbaya, our action, our fight, our aggression turns from our fists to our emotions. Fighting becomes less traditional and more spiritual.
March 3: Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Virgo
This Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Virgo will begin at 3:34 AM on March 3 at 12°53’ of Virgo.
If you have your natal personal planets like your Rising, Sun or Moon Sign, or if you have important astrological points such as your North Node, Midheaven or IC between 8-18 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces, or Virgo you’re likely to feel this the Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon the most.
The ruler of the Full Moon, Mercury, will be retrograde in Pisces at the time of the Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon.
This Lunar Eclipse is part of Saros Series 133. This eclipse series began on May 13, 1557 and is expected to complete on June 29, 2819. This particular Total Lunar Eclipse is part of a three saros series period affecting the same geographic region, called an exeligmos (turning of the wheel) that first began February 9, 1990 and was last experienced February 21, 2008.
This Total Lunar Eclipse will be visible and more impactful for those in eastern Asia, Australia, the Pacific Ocean, and the Americas.
Find the house Virgo rules in your natal chart. That’s the area of your life being illuminated by the Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Virgo. Think back to what was going on in your life between September 12, 2015 – February 26, 2017. That’s the last time we had eclipses on the Pisces-Virgo axis, other than this latest round which began September 17, 2024 and will complete on February 20, 2027.
Also think back, depending on your age, to February 2008 and February 1990, for additional insight as to what may be in store for you personally.
March 4: Venus sextile Uranus
Venus sextile Uranus transit stimulates your need for fun and excitement in your social and love life. This is also a good time for your finances with the possibility of an unexpected windfall. If all alone during this transit, entertainment or creativity will satisfy your increased desire for something new and shiny in your life. You can make original breakthroughs in artistic and creative work.
You will express your loving nature with a flair that can manifest as extra bling or a unique fashion style. Your displays shall attract equally interesting and eager people, willing to take a risk and see where it goes. This lack of inhibition is beneficial if you are naturally shy and reserved.
This is an excellent time to make new friends and lovers. While this transit favors instant attraction and a shortcut to the bedroom, the odds favor a quick fling more than marriage. The one exception to this is the case of two people who are naturally free spirits and dislike being owned or smothered with love and affection. True love is possible between these two. Even if one partner is more traditional but willing to give a lot of ground, there is the potential for a long-lasting relationship, whether sexual or platonic.
March 5: Sun trine Jupiter
Sun trine Jupiter transit brings growth, prosperity, good fortune and opportunities for success. It makes you happy, optimistic, enthusiastic and generous. Increased goodwill, faith and tolerance make most relationships more harmonious. A more confident and adventurous outlook makes this an excellent time to embark on new projects, relationships, long-distance travel, or studies.
You could increase your wealth through investments, business deals, or self-employment. Personal growth can also come through religion, spirituality, and group activities. Involvement in politics, philosophy, social welfare, and moral, legal or ethical issues could broaden your mind and increase your satisfaction and fulfillment. This lucky influence does not always prevent hardship and disappointment, but it does help you overcome setbacks.
March 6: Venus enters Aries
Venus, Goddess of Love and Beauty does not operate in her typical sensual, nurturing way when she’s in Aries. Venus enjoys the youthful playfulness of Aries energy, but Aries is ruled by Mars and is connected to war, military, and aggressive action. Love now feels like a battlefield and how Venus responds gets some personal flavoring based on our own natal planet placements. When Venus is transiting through Aries, we can be a little more selfish or me-focused when it comes to love and romance. We may find ourselves valuing our own independence, our own identity, or we may find ourselves looking for more bold, spontaneous acts of love. We may even find ourselves seeking love outside of our partnership as Aries doesn’t necessarily think things through, it just responds, acts, initiates.
March 7: Sun conjunct Mercury
Sun conjunct Mercury transit highlights your thinking, communications, and short-distance travel. It brings mental alertness, quick thinking, adaptability, and curiosity. Expect increased personal interaction in your neighborhood, with siblings, at school, and online.
This will be a busy time, with numerous appointments, correspondence, meetings, social activities, new information to process, and decisions to make. However, it is also a good time to share ideas, make plans, buy and sell, negotiate, and meet new people.
When Mercury retrograde merges with the Sun, this is the heart of the retrograde. Illumination. Revelation. The “aha” moment. Your thoughts become louder. Your inner dialogue gets a spotlight. You may revisit decisions, rethink plans, or recognize where your ego has been steering the narrative.
This can feel busy mentally. Old emails resurface. Conversations loop back around. Plans require revision. Instead of pushing forward, refine. Clarify. Recalibrate.
This is not about launching something new. It is about realigning your message with your truth. The Sun exposes what Mercury has been circling. Pay attention to what becomes undeniable.
March 7: Venus conjunct Neptune
Venus conjunct Neptune transit makes you more sensitive and perceptive and favors less physical pursuits like daydreaming, fantasizing, listening to music, and watching movies. It brings the potential for a new romance or more compassion and spiritual bonding in an existing relationship. However, there is also a risk of disappointment if you have not accepted the harsh realities of a negative relationship.
At work or with other routine duties, you may have some difficulty getting motivated. You will be drawn to anything beautiful and want to avoid harsh or aggressive situations or environments. Your level of compassion is high now, and you will find fulfillment in charity work or caring for others.
March 7: North Node square Lilith
Our collective humanly North Node is transiting through Pisces, a sign all about boundaryless love and compassion for all living things. Lilith is our collective defiance. It’s our repressed rage and anger, especially when it comes to our feminine energy, our ability to nurture, love, and feel emotionally and physically safe. Is it possible that there could be some event that forces us to stop what we’re doing collectively and allow our collective rage out – together – aimed at those actually causing the harm?
I was watching a TikTok of a medium saying she has been having these dreams that we’re on the brink of war and it seems like every nation is about to begin massive forms of death and destruction. But then the troops lay down their weapons, not just one nation, all nations. And the interesting part was she said the rage turned toward the billionaires. Those who view war as just a game, an opportunity to increase their bank account. And she said we have to adjust for free will but this is a potential timeline.
March 8: Venus conjunct Saturn
Venus conjunct Saturn transit can bring disadvantage, isolation and sadness. You may find it difficult to express love and affection, but it comes easily to be cold and mean. Relationships suffer the most with this transit, but you could also experience some financial hardship at this time.
An existing relationship may be tested by distance or separation, as well as a general inability to connect meaningfully. Issues involving guilt or disloyalty may be the source of the problem. A healthy relationship will easily pass this test and may lead to a more significant commitment.
A love relationship on shaky grounds may not last, but generally, other indicators need to be in your chart or theirs. Any sadness or painful experiences endured now will be karmic lessons that lead to a greater understanding of mutual love and respect or loyalty. Women, especially, are more subject to suffering domestic violence.
A new romance that would be very karmic is possible now, based on practical considerations, and may involve your career. A noticeable age difference is also a potential. This is not a good time for partying, as you will generally feel depressed and more concerned with matters of a serious nature.
Money may be tight, and this is an excellent time to learn how to budget correctly and reduce the risk of running short in the future. Starting a savings plan would be a good idea now.
March 8: Mercury trine Jupiter
Mercury trine Jupiter transit brings optimism, versatility, good luck and good news. Creativity, positive thinking and a broad outlook bring big ideas and grand plans. You can convincingly share your thoughts with integrity, eloquence and flair.
Goodwill, tolerance, honesty and openness ensure friendly communications. This aspect is ideal for discussing, debating, collaborating, planning, and negotiating. Agreements, partnerships and deals can be made with confidence. Disagreements can be overcome and arguments avoided.
You could meet a range of people through increased social activity. New friends may come from different cultures than your own and can be mutually beneficial. You should also be more generous and charitable.
Good fortune also applies to travel, education, business and legal matters. Open-mindedness and a progressive outlook help you broaden your knowledge and expand your horizons. Religion, spirituality, language, geography and philosophy are favored.
March 9: Venus sextile Pluto
Venus sextile Pluto transit makes you more passionate about love and the things that you love. You may become more deeply involved with, concerned about, and attached to a person, possession, or anything else you value. Obsessions, infatuations, and compulsions are possible as you become more determined to experience companionship, affection, love, or sex more intensely and profoundly.
If single, a new romance now would be a whirlwind experience and significantly change your life. If new love is impossible, spending time with friends or socializing in a group can help meet your need to share and care.
An existing relationship can evolve to a more profound or spiritual level. You would be more “into” sex than usual and may experiment with taboo areas of sexuality. Affairs are also possible, and secret romances may start under this transit. With all relationships, whether romantic or not, superficiality won’t satisfy you. You long to experience friendship or love on a more emotional level.
Privacy may be of concern under this influence. You may have reason to keep a relationship secret or want to uncover some secrets, and both options are favored. With love relationships, in particular, you will leave no stone unturned to discover the true feelings of the other person, perhaps even your true feelings.
March 10: Jupiter Retrograde Ends
Jupiter has been retrograde since Nov. 11, 2025 moving from 25°, 09 to 15°05″ Cancer. Find the house Cancer rules in your natal chart. This is the area of your life Jupiter has been expanding and influencing since it moved into Cancer in June 2025. On August 17, 2025, Jupiter reached 15°05″ of Cancer, so think back to what was going on in your life, specifically in the area of your life ruled by Cancer, between August 17 and November 11, 2025, because this retrograde is giving us some clarity, perhaps a second opportunity.
March 12: Mars conjunct North Node in Pisces
Mars is about taking action. When Mars gets together with the collective North Node in Pisces, this is a time to take action when it comes to spiritual growth, intuition, and surrendering to compassionate and creative endeavors. It may take courageous action to lay down traditional swords and choose an altruistic goal instead.
March 13: Venus trine Lilith
Sweet and sour. Divine feminine rage. Learning to love the untamed, shadow parts of our self and not rejecting or suppressing what our truth is, what feels honest.
March 14: Mars square Lilith
Feminine rage or rage against women can turn violent. There is a clash between our deep desires and what we’re taking action toward. We’re feeling passionate, intense passion, and need to find a healthy outlet for our outrage. Parts of ourselves, parts of society that are not accepted, especially when it comes to the feminine, may be impossible to ignore.
March 15: Mercury conjunct Mars
When Mercury retrograde links with Mars, the tongue sharpens. Thoughts move fast. Reactions move faster. Old arguments can resurface. Unresolved tension may demand a voice. There is power here, but it must be handled consciously.
This transit can bring courage to say what you have been suppressing. It can also bring impatience, defensiveness, or impulsive words that echo longer than intended.
Instead of firing off the text, draft it. Instead of reacting, breathe. This energy is potent for editing, strategizing, researching, and tackling mentally demanding tasks. Channel the heat into clarity rather than conflict.
If conflict does arise, choose it with intention. Retrograde Mars with Mercury is less about winning and more about understanding why the fight exists in the first place.
March 15: Mercury square Lilith
Intense intellectual friction, communication may become sharp, rebellious, or heavily charged with underlying, unspoken tension. This aspect often brings repressed, uncomfortable, or “shadow-side” truths to the surface, challenging existing, conventional, or polite narratives in conversations and thoughts.
March 18: Venus square Jupiter
Venus square Jupiter transit is ideal for having fun, but not so good for working hard. You should be feeling happy, optimistic, generous, and very friendly. Problems will arise if you must attend to more serious matters that require a responsible or conservative attitude.
This is generally a good time for socializing and making new friends. Care must be taken, however, not to lower your standards if dating, as this could lead to wrong choices or embarrassing situations. You may be more inclined to have an affair at this time, which would eventually backfire, leading to stress in a marriage.
Dieters may struggle to resist temptation at this time. A tendency toward greed, excess, and extravagance also poses problems for drinkers and drug users. Moderation is required, but that isn’t easy to come by if you are in a festive mood.
Another concern is your finances, as Venus rules money and Jupiter rules wealth. You may tend to overspend on luxury items, fashion, cosmetics, holidays or entertainment, anything you can do without if money is tight.
March 18: Sun sextile Uranus
Sun sextile Uranus transit brings pleasant surprises and stimulating encounters. It encourages you to try something new and exciting, giving you the freedom to do so. Increased self-awareness can come through flashes of insight or feedback from personal interactions.
Creativity is stimulated, and you should feel comfortable expressing the more flamboyant or kinky side of your personality. Socializing, group activities, and chance encounters should be more frequent and enlightening. You are more likely to meet unorthodox types of people from different cultural or ethnic backgrounds than your own.
Curiosity and inventiveness allow you to make discoveries or receive flashes of insight about whatever interests you. Scientific, electronic, and internet technology subjects may spark your interest, and this is also an excellent time to practice astrology or similar subjects.
It may be difficult to stick to a routine, and you will be easily distracted. However, it is this tendency to skip from one thing to another that leads to extra insight and discoveries. Taking the opposite view or changing your life will not be as disruptive as it sometimes can be. You will discover new approaches that can enhance efficiency.
March 18: New Moon in Pisces
On March 18 at 6:24 PM Pacific Time, we will have a New Moon in Pisces at 28°27” of Pisces. Find the house Pisces rules in your natal chart, that’s the area of your life being illuminated by this new moon and the area of your life where you are being asked to plant seeds for what you want to invite more of into your life. What do you want that area of your life to look like? Feel like? Six months from now when we have the Full Moon in Pisces, also a Partial Lunar Eclipse, on August 27.
This is the seventh of seven New Moons in a row at 28 degrees. Those with natal personal planets or important astrological points between 23-29 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgo, as well as 0-4 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, and Libra, you will feel this New Moon the most on a personal level.
March 20: Sun in Aries | Spring Equinox
Happy Birthday to Aries Suns! Welcome to the astrological New Year and the official astrological start of 2026. With the Sun moving into Aries, it is officially Spring, and the Spring Equinox honors that our day is now once again equally filled with light and darkness. But from this day forward, the light will grow more and more until we reach the Cancer Summer Solstice.
March 20: Mercury Retrograde Ends
March 20, the day that Mercury stations direct, is the same day that the Sun enters Aries and we have the Aries Spring Equinox, the arrival of Spring, and the official start of the astrological New Year.
Keep in mind that when a planet stations retrograde or when a planet stations direct, the energy will not automatically go back to normal.
This retrograde portal opened up on February 11 when Mercury reached the point where its retrograde would end, 8°29’ of Pisces. And Mercury will not reach the degree its retrograde began at, 22°33’ of Pisces until April 9, 2026. Meaning that until ~April 9, 2026, Mercury is not operating at its full capacity and hiccups, errors, and mistakes are more likely to occur.
March 21: Mars trine Jupiter
Mars trine Jupiter transit increases your desire to compete to win. Almost any action you start now will be successful. This transit is one of the best indicators of successful effort — successes in war, sport, sexual conquest, and business.
The good fortune you enjoy comes from your strong self-belief and good intentions. Applying such bountiful and positive energy toward any righteous cause will bring the benefits you desire. This is one of those rare times when risk-taking is advised.
You should get what you want, even with selfish intentions, as long as no one is hurt. Use your initiative and act on your instincts. This is the right time for decisive action: make important decisions, take the lead, and increase your wealth.
You can count on good judgment to take advantage of any opportunities for personal, material or spiritual growth that come your way. This is an ideal time for dating and nurturing existing relationships. Other people will be strongly drawn to your sexual aura and confident presence.
March 22: Sun conjunct Neptune
Sun conjunct Neptune transit increases your sensitivity, intuition, and empathy. Being more affected by the thoughts and feelings of others and the environment can be a positive or negative experience. The result depends on the people and conditions you find yourself in. It would be better to be alone than share the company of negative types who would drain your energy and leave you feeling depressed, scared or ill.
Being so caring and compassionate, your kindness will be seen as a weakness in the eyes of salespeople, loan sharks, drug dealers, and psychic vampires. Your interest in the spiritual world will be stimulated, but again, you are susceptible to false prophets and conspiracy theories.
Setting boundaries will allow you to enjoy a sense of togetherness with loved ones. You may benefit from joining or learning about environmental, charity, social or community work and groups. Spiritual or occult subjects like astrology may be better understood under this high-awareness transit.
At a more mundane level, this is a good time to go to the movies or escape from reality through a fantasy novel. Although this transit does sublimate your ego, you may still improve your self-esteem with mirrors and cameras. Use your heightened imagination to work out how.
March 25: Sun conjunct Saturn
Sun conjunct Saturn transit means you must stand up and be counted. Hard work, discipline, and patience are needed to fulfill your duties and obligations. You may have to take on extra responsibility or act as a mentor or guide.
This can be a time of great satisfaction, with achievements, recognition, and promotion. However, it can also be a time of deprivation, insecurity, and hardship. Much will depend on your diligence and responsibility over the last year. If things start to fall apart, it might be a signal to change course and set new goals.
Relationships may be the source of sadness as it becomes difficult to express oneself. Isolation and coldness are possible, but things can work out well if others realize you are dependable and trustworthy. You could serve as a rock for someone or be looked up to for your stability and wisdom.
Structures in your life may need attending to. This can range from your physical home to your daily routine. So this is a good time to simplify and bring efficiency to your life. Unclutter your life and remove the deadwood to make your goals less complicated and easier to achieve.
March 25: Sun sextile Pluto
Sun sextile Pluto transit increases your need to succeed. You will feel more determined and purposeful than usual to achieve your goals. Your obsessive or compulsive tendencies can be harnessed to complete a difficult task. This especially applies to anything that has broken down or is no longer helpful in your life, from a messy room to a bad habit.
Another effect of the power from Pluto is to increase your level of attractiveness. This can be sexual, but mysteriously also gives you tremendous influence over other people. Once you become aware of this power and influence, it can feel like you are wearing a police uniform that only others can see.
This increased power will benefit you if you don’t abuse it. Misusing this gift would result in self-destruction the next time you experience a challenging Pluto aspect. If you use your power to help others, especially groups of people, you will find that you gain benefits anyway. This transit also deepens your interest in solving mysteries, learning about occult subjects, and studying personal interactions from a psychological perspective.
March 26: Venus conjunct Chiron
Ancient wounds resurface related to how we relate to and care for one another. Our violent way of handling disagreements in relationships may be coming from a wounded place that we’ve been pretending doesn’t exist.
Though we tried to collectively cut off, at least emotionally, this part of our culture or ourselves, that wound is permanent. We’re perhaps learning to face our wounds, our lessons. We may have to own the dark parts of our culture, acknowledge that yes money could be made from war, from using AI robots and technology to replace human employees, but then what happens to culture? What happens to human understanding? What happens when we acknowledge putting boardroom and billionaire profits above the well being and best interests of human beings has done harm?
March 27: Mercury square Lilith
Communication feels shocking, controversial, intensive. You may impulsively challenge authority or respond in a way to someone – it can be sarcastic or aggressive – that triggers arguments. There’s a raw, confrontational energy in this transit that wants to expose hidden truths and power imbalances. With Mercury recently stationing direct from its retrograde but still in ths shadow period, we could be gaining clarity or have deep emotional instincts that heavily influence our thought process and communication.
March 28: Saturn sextile Pluto
Saturn sextile Pluto transit helps you overcome hardship with endurance and determination. You can harness all your inner power to succeed in the most challenging tasks. This should be a time of achievement and success.
You will be focused, efficient and driven by whatever you apply yourself to. You will filter out the background noise and avoid distractions that are not essential to the job. Your tremendous work ethic makes you highly productive and enables professional recognition and advancement.
March 30: Venus enters Taurus
Venus rules slow-and-steady Taurus. This is a great time to focus on deepening relationships. Taurus is the lover of the zodiac after all. It’s also an energy about finances and self-worth, so this is a good time to think about financial security, to move slowly, be more sensual, appreciate beauty, indulge in good food. But just really connect to the Earth, appreciate the Spring flowers, your loved ones.
