Why I Created Elevated Aura:

Healing Should Never Feel Like a Sales Pitch

Why I Created Elevated Aura: A Reflection on Spiritual Integrity and the Healing Journey

On Sunday, I had a complimentary session with a master coach whose specialty is subconscious healing—helping you unearth the beliefs, stories, and survival strategies buried deep within so you can rewrite your narrative and build a life aligned with abundance and healing.

This kind of work can be incredibly powerful, especially for those of us who experienced childhood trauma and are working to shift from a scarcity mindset to one of worthiness and possibility.

I went into the session with an open mind—but if I’m honest, there was a bit of a haze clouding my experience. The person who referred me to this healer had recently told me that my energy was blocking her from abundance, which didn’t sit well with me. That comment alone speaks to one of the shadows I often see in the spiritual space: spiritual narcissism disguised as empowerment.

By the end of the session, the coach transitioned into selling her packages—something I completely understand as a fellow spiritual entrepreneur. But then, her tone shifted. She became snippy, as if my hesitation to invest was a personal offense. And in that moment, I remembered why I created elevated aura in the first place.

There is a real lack of trauma-informed awareness in the spiritual coaching world.

There are too many people using fear, shame, or urgency to push others into buying healing—without regard for their nervous system, trauma history, or intuitive boundaries. Yes, we often need to step outside our comfort zones to grow, but there’s a difference between a loving nudge and manipulative pressure.

Not every healer or coach will be the right fit for you—and that’s okay.

When I began my healing journey in 2019, I had an incredible therapist. We worked together twice a week, and I credit those sessions with helping me come back to myself. But eventually, my bank account needed a break. Since then, I’ve searched for support here and there—sometimes through BetterHelp, sometimes through spiritual spaces—and unfortunately, not every experience has been affirming. One therapist told me narcissistic abuse wasn’t real. Another began praying over me and invoking Jesus after I shared one small detail from my story.

I’ve found far more resonance, healing, and empowerment through astrology, full moon circles, breathwork, and guided meditations. These practices don’t require me to bypass my pain or perform spiritual perfection—they meet me in the mystery, in the grief, in the not-knowing.

And while I still don’t have all the answers—and probably never will—astrology continues to hold me during the moments that feel uncertain, messy, or overwhelming. Whether it’s a sudden ending, a heavy transition, or a period of waiting, the stars remind me I’m not lost—I’m in rhythm.

If you feel the same way, I want you to know: I’m a resource for you.

That’s why elevated aura exists. Not to sell you something you’re not ready for. Not to manipulate you into transformation. But to remind you that healing is personal. Growth is nonlinear. And support should feel safe, not shameful.

If you ever need to ground your energy, reconnect with your soul, or simply color with your child while your nervous system takes a breath—I’ve got you.
