Venus Star Oct. 22, 2022

Sacred Geometry Venus Star

In our natal chart, where Venus is located, both the house and the astrological sign, gives us insight as to the flavoring in which we handle love and money.

Our Venus represents how we love, how we show love, how we express our feminine side if we identify as female, and for males, our Venus indicates what we like in a female partner.

For Females, Venus is how we operate in the world, it’s where our greatest pleasures lie, which is why it’s so helpful to know where your Venus is in your natal birth chart.

Like the sun, the moon, and the other planets, Venus doesn’t stay stagnant in the sky. She’s moving, dancing through the Heavens. And every 8 years, the planet of love, Venus creates a perfect five-pointed star in the sky as it orbits around the Sun.

Known as the Rose of Venus or the Star of Venus, this perfect geometrical shape, sacred geometry, is a reminder of both the beauty and order that can be found in the Universe.

Other symbols that represent the Star of Venus include seashells, starfish, fruits, and even the human body, which is a five-pointed star!

And this is where things get exciting – really exciting!!!

Venus Moves into Libra

On October 22, 2022, we will experience a once in a lifetime cosmic event, when the Venus Star moves from Scorpio into Libra.

This has gotten the attention of astrologers, including myself, because Venus has not created a star point in Libra since the 1770s, making this the first time that any of us have experienced this energy.

Do you see the numerology of the date? 10-22-2022 or as those in European or Latin nations write it: 22-10-22.

Venus is moving to 29 degrees of Libra. The 29th degree of the zodiac is also considered a particularly karmic degree and can enhance the planetary energies.

Venus will be conjunct the dwarf planet Haumea, named after the Hawaiian Goddess of Birth, when she moves into Libra.

Haumea has the gift of being able to birth children from the limbs of her own body. She represents Divine creation and the incredible and perhaps untapped power that a child-bearing body holds. We can use her energy to create, not with forced effort, but with trust.

Haumea knows how to harness the power of nature and her innate abilities to create and to bring new life to things. She doesn’t have to struggle, she simply follows the same order and structure that nature provides.

We can use the energy of Haumea to bring trust and ease to whatever we are moving through. We can use her wisdom to remind ourselves that all things bloom in their own time. We can also use her energy to remind ourselves that we are powerful and capable to create and to birth new life into all areas of our lives.

Haumea is shaped like an egg, rather than a sphere. Eggs are often a symbol for fertility, new life, new beginnings. If there is something in your life that needs a rebirth, you can connect with Haumea for guidance.

Together, the alignment of the two Goddesses, Venus and Haumea symbolizes a powerful fusion of feminine energy. This is further enhanced by the fact that Venus will be aligning in her ruling sign of Libra. Venus also rules Taurus.

Sacred Geometry: Star of Venus

As Venus orbits around the Sun, she makes a beautiful five-petalled flower known as the Rose of Venus. Each one of these petals represents a growth point or an evolution point when it comes to love, connection, our values, and our interpretation of beauty.

To create the petals, Venus shifts between being a morning star and an evening star. This transition is marked by Venus aligning with the Sun, which is known as the Venus Star Point.

The Rose of Venus takes 8 years to be completed, and we can track how the formation of each petal has marked a period of maturity and ascension in our relationships and in matters relating to the heart.

The current Rose of Venus we are working on began in June 2020.

As Venus and the Sun come together, Venus transforms from a morning to an evening star. Venus then shifts retrograde and will align with the Sun once more to become a morning star. The cycle then repeats.

Since the start of 2022, Venus has been traveling as a morning star. But now, on October 22, 2022, she will align with the Sun, and slowly transform into an evening star. This transformation can take up to 80 days as Venus merges its energy with the center of our solar system.

At the end of this merging, Venus will slowly separate from the Sun and appear in the evening sky.

Evening sky Venus is said to help us activate feelings of self-love, self-nourishment, and to bring beauty to our inner world. Morning Sky Venus is said to help us create partnership, connection with others, and to bring beauty to our external world.

We typically experience one Venus Star Point each year, but the October Star Point will actually be our second. The first we experienced was on January 8, 2022.

Venus Star Point

Your Venus Star Point involves the prenatal conjunction of the Sun and Venus. In other words, this is separate from where your Venus is in your natal chart.

For example, my Venus is in Pisces. But my Venus Star Point is in Capricorn. Retrograde Capricorn to be precise.

Venus Star Point:

  • Head: Capricorn (R) | 28°, 35″ | 12th House
  • Giving Hand: Scorpio | 8°, 56″ | 10th House
  • Giving Foot: Leo (R) | 29°, 14″ | 7th House
  • Receiving Foot: Gemini (R) | 22°, 12″ | 5th House
  • Receiving Hand: Aries | 15°, 9″ | 3rd House

It’s interesting that my Venus Star Point is dominated by Fire and Yang energy, masculine energy, where in my natal chart, the ruling elements are Earth and Water – I barely have fire in my chart, which makes my chart very feminine energetically.

Venus Star Point is ruled by Mercury. And I have Gemini energy, one of the two signs ruled by Mercury, in my VSP – it’s in my receiving foot.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and interestingly enough, I have Saturn, Capricorn’s ruling planet, natally in Capricorn.

In English this basically means that our Venus Star Point gives us insight as to our soul’s purpose or mission in this lifetime.

The Venus star symbolizes the experience of unconditional love. For this experience, we need to leave our comfort zone, change our habits and surrender, and that’s what the hands and feet are about.

The energy feeds into / off of one another.

For me, Capricorn feeds Scorpio feeds Leo feeds Gemini feeds Aries.

Based on the archetypal energies of these zodiac signs that make up my VSP as well as the houses they rule in my natal chart, will all give insight as to what my life’s purpose or mission is, what I may need to learn, what karmic lessons need to be released for my Venus to fully step into her power.

For me, the message I got from my VSP:

I am ambitious, responsible and disciplined, but I go after what I want. Given that Capricorn rules my 12th house of spirituality, healing, karma, isolation, loss, it’s not lost on me that my ambition and determination to go after what I want has forced me into deep self transformations. Scorpio energy.

Scorpio is also the mystic, and involves astrology. Scorpio is the ruler of my 10th house of career, public image, and goals.

So I’m picking up that I’m likely going to experience deep transformations that are for my highest good, perhaps even karmic clearing, but it’s all because I love others deeply and devotionally.

I have a big heart. Leo energy. And I love to have fun and play with those I love. Leo rules my 7th house of relationships, marriage, equality sharing.

The minute I feel you don’t have my best interest in mind? Or are not valuing my relationships? I’m coming across as stubborn and arrogant. I’m likely ready for another transformation.

This is where Gemini’s ability to see both sides aides me.

Just because we had a deep relationship before, doesn’t mean that I’m going to continue to see and understand your perspective because I love to learn, talk, communicate. Especially with those in my life that I love.

I could talk all day long about love, joy, creativity, play, spirituality, but the Aries in me recognizes that all talk and no action is not going to get me what I want.

And remember, Capricorn energy rules the head of my VSP. This BOSS goes after what she wants, and that’s because the Aries energy in me makes it happen. Never been done before? Aries doesn’t give a fuck.

Romance in the 1770s: A similar theme?

I did some research as to what was happening in the love realm during the 1770s, and I found that many historians agree it was in the 1770s when our word choice started to matter when it came to love and romance.

This is also when we saw an increase in ethereal romantic language with words like eternal, burn, despair, distraction, enchantment, esteem, eternal, graces, happy, praise and truce.

Other romance themes:

  • Young people had chaperones when they went on a date.
  • If you went on a date, it was because your family approved and helped arrange the courtship.
  • And only those interested in marriage, having a family were dating.

Another new advancement in the area of love?

Self Love. The idea that learning to love yourself could be the greatest love of all first began circulating. But predominantly in elitist circles of men…

Although Venus is the planet of peace, love, harmony, joy, romance, Venus has wisdom to pass on to us, we have lessons to learn.

It’s possible our relationships – especially romantic relationships – may experience karmic lessons at this time, we may also experience challenges that help us either grow together, deeper in love, or we may realize that we’ve learned our lessons from this particular partner and go our separate ways.

Essentially, if there is something in your life that needs a rebirth, if you are looking to bring fresh energy or new creations into your life, you can connect with Haumea for guidance at this time.

With Venus and Haumea coming together, we can notice themes relating to fertility and childbirth, the rebirth of heart matters, a deepening in our relationships, particularly with women, an activation of Divine feminine energy, and an increased need to create nourishment and comfort.

I noticed that once I discovered my Venus Star Point was Capricorn that I’ve had life events including my marriage when Venus was in Capricorn.

With the Venus Star Point also happening so close to the October 25, Solar New Moon Eclipse in Scorpio we may also notice changes and transformations when it comes to our relationships and how we choose to show up in them. We may find a need to deepen our connection with others or with ourselves, so we can understand, empathize, and find deeper compassion.
