August 2026 Astrology Forecast

How does my uniqueness become an asset to the greater good?

August marks a profound shift in our collective evolution. July asked us to examine our emotional foundations and the stories we’d built our lives upon. August invites us to move forward with courage—not courage for the sake of recognition, but courage that serves a larger purpose.

Throughout the month, we’re encouraged to embrace creative solutions, question outdated beliefs, and redefine what authentic leadership looks like. Leo energy reminds us that our uniqueness, creativity, and joy matter. Aquarius, Virgo, and Pisces remind us that those gifts become most meaningful when they’re offered in service to our communities.

This isn’t about abandoning your individuality for the collective, nor is it about pursuing personal success without considering those around you. Instead, August asks us to explore a new question:

How does my uniqueness become an asset to the greater good?

As the North Node prepares to enter Aquarius, the conversation expands beyond me and into we. We’re learning that thriving communities aren’t built through conformity—they’re built by individuals who are courageous enough to contribute their authentic gifts while remaining compassionate, collaborative, and open to growth.

You’ll likely notice themes surrounding self-worth, belonging, truth, and creative self-expression woven throughout the month. Many of us will be challenged to release external validation and instead discover confidence rooted in authenticity. At the same time, eclipses and Chiron’s retrograde remind us that healing isn’t always comfortable—but it often creates the space for our greatest breakthroughs.

Ultimately, August is a month of heart-centered leadership. It’s about finding the courage to use your voice, trusting your creative instincts, and recognizing that your individuality isn’t separate from your purpose. Your gifts were never meant to exist in isolation—they’re meant to become part of something larger than yourself.

August 2026 Astrology Transits

Aug. 1: Venus in Virgo square Lilith in Sagittarius

There’s a clash between our ability to give a pure love, an honest love, and work toward a shared purpose in partnership because there could be information coming to our attention that reveals our belief systems or our spiritual teachers were not honest with us. We may find ourselves exploring other paths of finding ways to love and serve one another that allow for truth and a feeling of belonging and acceptance, especially for those who have perhaps never felt like they belonged.

Aug. 2: North Node Pisces sextile Chiron in Taurus at 0 degrees

Our collective spiritual evolution and spiritual awareness is allowing us to show up as more compassionate with ourselves and one another during a time where financially people are struggling. And this is affecting food supply, nutrition, and so it’s more than just an economic bump; it’s a situation that is affecting long-term health, short-term health, and quality of life. Body image issues, relationship with food, relationship with money, relationship with self worth are all perhaps struggling a bit. And our energetic push toward surrendering to challenges and embracing self care to ride the storms of life may help cushion some of the challenge.

Aug. 3: Chiron Retrograde Begins | Taurus 00°52’ to 26°52’ Aries ends Jan. 6, 2027

Chiron will enter Aries again on Sept. 17, 2026, around 6:53 PM Pacific Time. Chiron will end the retrograde at 26°52’ Aries on Jan. 6, 2027 and will re-enter Taurus on April 14, 2027.

Find the houses Taurus and Aries rule for you – this is where your self worth, your wounding may really be showing up or highlighted this fall and into the Spring until Chiron moves back into Taurus until ~2033.

Aug. 4: Mars in Gemini opposition Lilith in Sagittarius

We’re feeling quick to take action, to study, to communicate our beliefs, thoughts, feelings especially when it comes to spirituality, religion, our worldview. But Mars is moving so quickly in scattered, unfocused Gemini, that we may have no choice but to acknowledge that gap between the beliefs we say we believe and the beliefs we truly are willing to fight for. We could be exploring different paths, questioning our relationship with truth, our understanding of religion or different belief systems.

Aug. 6: Venus enters Libra

Love, compassion, balance, focusing on ensuring all sides are not just heard but feeling understood, seen. There is an air of gracefulness, romanticism, harmony, diplomacy, charm. It can feel a little irritating when the cracks in the relationships show or we feel our relationship is not perfect or not looking the way it “should” be, then this transit can be a time where we are learning to accept imperfections with grace. To appreciate the intention not solely the outcome. This is a great time to enjoy dinner parties, gardening, painting, art, fashion.

Aug. 6: Sun in Leo trine Saturn in Aries

The confidence, the charisma, the self-love, childlike joy, and enthusiasm for life is helping us learn how to assert ourselves, our opinions, our impulses without judging them first. Saturn in Aries can sometimes have us feeling unsure of ourselves and there’s a need to learn to self-accept and be bold. That’s exactly what the Sun in Leo is doing around this date. Confidence, perseverance, and a calm mind to tackle whatever obstacles come your way.

Aug. 9: Mercury enters Leo

Our communication style just got a large dosing of flair. Leo energy is very confident, creative, enthusiastic, courageous, and you may find yourself expressing bold ideas or sharing your thoughts in a more passionate, honest way than you have in the past. Especially after the Mercury Retrograde in Cancer during July that brought forward so many of the ways we’ve been building a life based on our limiting beliefs and playing smaller than we may have realized. Use this transit to use your voice. Will you experience criticisms? Perhaps but someone judging you or having a comment is not necessarily worth keeping the lion from roaring is it?

Aug. 9: Mercury in Leo square Chiron in Taurus

Our ability to go out in the world and be confident, enthusiastic, courageous, feels a bit sabotaged by feelings of not having enough, not being worthy or deserving enough. Leo loves to be the center of attention and it’s a youthful, egoic energy that is very childlike. And when a child is learning that toys are not the only way to show they are loved or worthy or celebrated by their parents, there is a learning curve. Same here too. Chiron in Taurus is highlighting how much of our self worth comes from external validation including material possessions. And asking: can we learn how to be nurtured by relationships, simple pleasures in life like the roar of the ocean, a bird singing, a flower blooming, a butterfly in the sky.

Aug. 10: Venus in Libra trine Pluto in Aquarius

The way our partners, close friends show up for us can be transformative and deeply healing. Our relationships are the catalyst for personal growth and empowerment.

Aug. 10: Venus in Libra opposition Neptune in Aries

We’re feeling torn between wanting to be diplomatic and in harmonious co-existing relationships with those around us, or even our close friends and family members. However, Neptune in Aries is encouraging us to take action, to go to spiritual war if need be to ensure your side’ is victorious. But that need to fight, that need to take aggressive action instead of finding a diplomatic solution is leading to polarization perhaps within the community on what the proper response looks like.

Aug. 11 Mars enters Cancer

Our sense of safety, or lack thereof, can make us feel the need to fight or take aggressive action to protect those we love. We’re feeling especially loyal and protective, assertive, but not exactly directly confrontational. We’re picking up on the emotional undercurrents of what is not being fully communicated and there can be a bit of a struggle to balance fighting and protecting and communicating your own needs, vs the needs of others. Confidence in your own instincts will be key. Trust in your own emotional strength.

Aug. 11 Mars in Cancer trine North Node in Pisces

This could be a time when we see the birthing of new passionate, emotionally intelligent leaders. There is a sense of determination in their voice and it could draw more people to support that passionate purpose.

Aug. 11: Mercury in Leo opposition Pluto in Aquarius

Pluto wants to uncover the truth for all to know but Mercury in Leo is feeling a little vulnerable to share thoughts or feedback that is intense and not exactly enthusiastic or joy-filled. Mercury in Leo wants to share creative ideas and express childlike joy but Pluto in Aquarius says, the time for fun is on pause, we have to talk about the elephant in the room. Like a lack of equality, a lack of voices that are allowed to be heard, a very narrow scope of what is considered appropriate to share or think or speak. And Aquarius, especially with Pluto’s encouragement, says go ahead, speak the truth even if your voice shakes. Acknowledge the lack of equality, acknowledge the number of community members, vulnerable community members like children, animals, elderly people, those who are vulnerable mentally, emotionally, physically, financially – because it’s a truth that most people are probably in agreement exists, but it can take that rebellious Aquarius spirit to spit it out.

Aug. 11: Mercury in Leo trine Neptune in Aries

Our imaginations and creativity is in flow. We’re feeling intuitive, sensitive, dreamy, poetic, creative, and a deep emotional intelligence. Our minds may be attracted to abstract or spiritual concepts. We do have to be cautious to not be overly boastful or to speak as if we are a guru or a prophet for some spiritual war.

Aug. 11: Venus in Libra trine Uranus in Gemini

Lighthearted approach to relationships. More spontaneous, exciting, connections socially and romantically. These connections may not forever be in our lives but there is a level of honesty and genuine connection. We’re feeling original, vibrant, youthful, adventurous.

Aug. 12: Mars in Cancer sextile Chiron in Taurus

We may feel a strong urge to find a community, a chosen family, if not our DNA family, to really help remind us of our lovability, our worth, our enoughness especially as the challenges continue over the next decade or so. Our wounding when it comes to self worth and our feelings of lovability are all being exposed right now and this Mars energy could be an opportunity to take purposeful action so that we are not only helping our own hidden feelings find support, but we can offer that same unconditional love and understanding to those around us.

Aug. 12: Solar Eclipse New Moon in Leo

This New Moon invites us to plant seeds around our desires, our creativity, our ability to accept criticism and feedback, and our playfulness. We’re learning new information about ourselves, such as where our self-esteem comes from, what makes us feel inspired, energized, and ready to lead.  I really like the energy of this New Moon and the fact that it’s an eclipse means that if you have any important astrological points or personal planets in the fixed signs: Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, especially if they are around 20 degrees, you’re going to feel this on a personal level not just collectively and there could be massive transformations and changes occurring for you. Overall though this looks like a time of learning or intentionally building a conscious community really through art, compassion, spirituality, returning to child-like wonder and joy. This New Moon is attached to a Super Full Moon on Jan. 22, 2027.

Aug. 12: Mercury in Leo sextile Uranus in Gemini

We’re curious, openminded, more open to progressive ideas than we may normally be – I remember hearing once someone said young people tend to be progressive and like change because they are not as set in their ways, and older people tend to resist change more, which is why being progressive intellectually is associated with the youth. Leo is a youthful zodiac energy, it’s an energy filled with childlike wonder and joy and Gemini is the student of the zodiac and Uranus is using his disruptive powers to get us to think outside of the box perhaps. We could even have very futuristic conversations because Uranus is connected to the galactic center, and rules Leo’s zodiac buddy Aquarius along with Saturn.

Aug. 13: Mercury in Leo sextile Venus in Libra

Kind, tactful communication. Emotionally intuitive, social grace, charming, supportive of relationships in particular.

Aug. 15: Mercury in Leo conjunction Jupiter in Leo

Our minds are curious, idealistic, there’s a love of learning, a thirst for truth through educational experiences like travel, philosophy, spiritual exploration. Freedom of thought, big-picture understanding, challenging conventional learning or thoughts.

Aug. 17: Mars in Cancer square Neptune in Aries

We’re dreaming big but we don’t know how to turn those dreams into reality. At times we can feel motivated to overcome obstacles in our way and at other times we feel overwhelmed, unsure if we’re going to be successful and that disillusionment stops us in our tracks. If we focus on creative solutions, compassionate solutions, and have a boundary or well established ideals of what we’re trying to achieve, that will help give meaning to what we’re creating.

Aug. 17: Mercury in Leo trine Saturn in Aries

We’re thinking clearly, we’re putting thought into what we’re saying, how we’re saying it, and we’re reliable in our responsiveness. We’re taking an approach to life that is slow and steady, methodical. This is a great time to get any sort of planning or organization done and it’s likely to be a time when you’re a dependable friend who responds to text messages. #MomLife

Aug. 17: Venus in Libra sextile Jupiter in Leo

Our social lives are likely feeling very harmonious and easeful. There’s an energy where we’re feeling naturally kind, warm, inclusive. It’s a great time to enjoy art, beauty, celebrations, experiencing different cultural traditions or celebrations. We’re feeling diplomatic and like a gracious host. This generosity is attracting goodwill and joyful opportunities.

Aug. 18: North Node leaves Pisces and enters Aquarius

As a collective, we are being asked to embrace community and to find a new balance between our own individual wants and what is best for the health and wellness of all. This is a time of new ideas, innovative, futuristic ideas, and we’re having to redefine the value and role of personal freedoms and social connections. We can’t fully ignore our own needs though so it’s trying to figure out how to be part of a community and move an idea or betterment of society forward together while also being uniquely you because it’s going to take a rainbow of strengths and talents and ideas to really build a community that supports all.

Aug. 19: Sun in Leo trine Lilith in Sagittarius

The Sun in Leo is giving us a sprinkle of confidence, of healthy self-esteem, and that is allowing us to perhaps open our hearts, minds, or speak a truth that we may have previously been afraid to share. Lilith is a very repressed energy that is trying to break free and be authentic, honest, safe to explore. And with the Sun in Leo we’re feeling the courage to do exactly that. Affirmation: “I am free to seek my own truth and live with open-minded curiosity.”

Aug. 21: Venus in Libra opposition Saturn in Aries

There’s a fear of vulnerability, a struggle with our self worth that is making it difficult for us to perhaps fully allow intimacy with another and allow ourselves that deep connection for closeness we so badly crave. This can lead to taking on additional responsibilities or self-sacrificing to try and prevent abandonment or loss of love. This is an opportunity to work on self-love, self-compassion, to learn to trust that growth and depth in relationships comes from a place of honesty.

Aug. 22: Sun in Leo opposition North Node in Aquarius

There may be an ongoing pull between self-expression and the evolutionary path, leading to periods of indecision or restlessness. While this can feel disorienting, it also invites a deeper inquiry into how one’s sense of identity can evolve in response to life’s larger purpose. Over time, this aspect can foster wisdom through lived experience.

Aug. 22: Sun enters Virgo

We’re feeling inspired to create order and organizational systems in our lives. Virgo is an energy that is all about our health, physical body wellness, and our daily service to the world, our 9-5 job usually. This can be a good time to organize your closet, clean out the pantry, start a new wellness routine, eat a cleaner diet, adopt a pet like a dog, cat, rabbit, fish, small animals as those are ruled by Virgo.

Aug. 23: Sun in Virgo trine Chiron in Taurus

Virgo is an energy all about purity, being organic as possible, as minimal as possible. And with Chiron in Taurus making us feel lack, scarcity, what we can learn from the Sun in Virgo is how to make the best with what we have, how to return to a state of gratitude and appreciation for nature, for the natural world, for slowing down and making clothing, toys, food from scratch, by hand, and not just mass consuming and mass producing more more more.

Aug. 23: Mercury in Leo trine Lilith in Sagittarius

We’re taking pride in our ideas and we’re overcoming obstacles, particularly the voice in our head that is critical that our ideas are too out there to be shared, and while we may struggle if we receive criticism and feel a deep wound if that happens, this is really an aspect indicating we feel more free to express our authentic truth and voice more so than usual.

Aug. 24: Mercury in Leo opposition North Node in Aquarius

We feel at odds between what our mind knows to be true or possible and what our soul and heart know needs to happen. There’s a level of discomfort, uncertainty that we’re experiencing. And it’s a time where we are learning to  figure out what is logic, what is our intuition, and how we can bridge the two together.

Aug. 25: Mercury enters Virgo

Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo. But in Virgo Mercury brings clarity, precision, and a deep love of detail. There can be a tendency to be a little nitpicky with Mercury in Virgo as we are going over every mundane detail and striving for accuracy, understanding, efficiency. We want to be helpful, informative, but trusted. We’re not adding as much color to our communication as we did while Mercury was in Leo.

Aug. 25: Mercury in Virgo trine Chiron in Taurus

With the wound of not having enough, our minds may be comforted by our mind’s ability to organize, ration, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Aug. 27: Sun conjunction Mercury, Virgo 04°26’

Mercury Cazimi. Our minds and our actions are coming together. We’re getting clarity and expressing ourselves clearly, thinking quickly on our feet. There’s a purity in the ideas being shared in that they are organic, original.

Aug. 27: Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Pisces

Think back to what was going on in your life especially the area of your life ruled by Pisces, around March 19, 2026 there could be an echo or a similar theme occurring.

Aug. 28: Mercury in Virgo square Uranus in Gemini

Unconventional thinking, unique perspectives, intellectual leadership, sharing in dialogue not confrontation.

Aug. 28: Sun square Uranus, Virgo 05°37’

Tension between desire to express who we are but also needing to be part of a stable community or family. Breakthroughs, abrupt change, erratic behavior, emotional awareness.

Aug. 31: Jupiter in Leo trine Saturn in Aries

Our confidence and self esteem is feeling supported and we have the courage to pursue the bold ideas we may have previously been too shy to share.
